Benefit Description
Medical – Private hospital accommodation, surgeons’ and anesthetists’ fees, specialist consultation fees, outpatient visits, inpatient drugs and dressings. Dental and vision – Reimbursement up to fixed limits, depending on the nature of treatment.
Employee Contribution
Generally it is a contractual requirement that the employer pay the employee premium. In the majority of cases, the employee pays for dependents’ coverage.
Plan Financing
Generally fully insured. However, larger plans are frequently self-funded and medical trusts are increasingly popular.
